Description
JVC GY-HD250 HDV Camera Package • As new body, only 000005h on drum meter • New Wide Angle Zoom, Fujinon Th13x3.5BRMU • New JVC / Focus Enhancements Firestore DVR, DR-HD100 • Anton Bauer battery system with tandem charger / power supply Here's JVC's top-of-line professional HDV camcorder. The most important element of this package to compare with any other HD250s you might see on eBay or elsewhere is the lens. It's about $6000 more expensive than the stock 16:1 zoom you'll find on most HD250s. It's also a LOT wider, which is great for documentary, or any kind of shooting in real locations. I searched the end-user forums for comments about the lens and found things like "superior in every way," and "the lens we all dream about" or as one fellow put it, "drool over." Well, actually, this one hasn't been drooled on. It's never been used. We only took it out of the box to take the pictures below. Same with the Firestore drive. The camera got its 5h of use on a test shoot using a 35mm lens adapter. Then, well you know the story... the financing for the project fell apart, and now here we are on eBay. Someone else's misfortune can be your gain, as you can pick up this rig with a great lens for the price of one with the (pretty crappy, unfortunately) stock lens. The items in the auction all have their original boxes and documentation. It's all yours immediately for the BuyItNow price. You may make an offer, but please don't waste your time and ours with a ridiculous low-ball. All serious offers will be considered. The camera is in Burbank, and if you're in the LA area and want to see it in person, send a msg. and we'll work something out. Guaranteed to be as described and against DOA. Payment by Mastercard, Visa or Discover. Free shipping to lower 48 only. The basic JVC blurbage is below. There's more usefull info on the camera's numerous pro features at the JVC website. The DR-HD100 features a comprehensive backlit display, menu system and buttons allowing easy control and management. Additionally, with the JVC's ProHD cameras you can monitor the DR-HD100 time code and disk space remaining in the viewfinder. You can preview clips in the camera's viewfinder or LCD monitor using the DR-HD100's playback mode. DTE™ technology means that DR-HD100 files are recorded in the HDV/DV editing system's native file format. This means no capturing, no file transfer and no rendering.
